As the Controller at Ashbury Construction in San Francisco, I oversaw the financial operations of a thriving construction company with over $5MM in annual revenue. My role involved designing and implementing standard operating processes, processing payroll, generating budgets, and leading a dedicated accounting team to deliver exceptional results.
Previously, as the owner of Kiki’s Kreamery in Safety Harbor, FL, I managed all business operations, from build-out, marketing, and financial oversight to customer service, leveraging QuickBooks Online and Square for retail for accurate financial tracking. My entrepreneurial drive led to the development and execution of growth strategies that significantly enhanced business performance.
During my tenure as a Freelance Senior Accounting Specialist, I provided freelance accounting services to a diverse clientele, handling comprehensive accounting tasks such as financial statement generation, bank reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and data reporting. My commitment to exceptional client service and detailed financial planning helped businesses thrive.
As CFO and co-founder of Web Credit Advisors in Fair Lawn, NJ, I directed a team of 18 associates, developed and managed internal financial controls, and contributed to the company’s growth, quadrupling annual sales to $2M within a year. My expertise in creating debt-reduction programs and managing HR and financial operations was pivotal to the company’s success.
My career began as a Controller at P.J. Inc. in New York, NY, where I supervised all accounting functions for a public relations and marketing firm. I successfully transitioned the firm from a manual accounting system to QuickBooks Pro, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
